SAM'S CLUB Relocates to all New Location in the City of Sandusky

Club associates will present more than $33,000 in grants to local non-profit organizations; location is 28th in the great state of Ohio.
SANDUSKY, Ohio–Sept. 12, 2006 – Erie County residents will be amazed at the affordable luxury, goods and services available at the all new SAM’S CLUB location at 614 Crossings Rd., which will participate in a special community day on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., in preparation for the official opening day on Thurs., Sept. 14 at 9:45 a.m. Local media outlets encouraged to attend both ceremonies for photo opportunities, live satellite feeds or footage for B-roll packages.
At the community day ceremony, more than $33,000 in grants will be awarded to several non-profit organizations, such as, The United Way of Erie County, Humane Society, and the local police and fire departments. Community leaders, grant recipients and the general public will join associates for a tour of the new Club immediately following the grant presentation on Tuesday.

SAM’S CLUB members in the City of Sandusky will enjoy amenities at the new location--Tire and Batteries area, 1 hour photo, optical, café, pharmacy, floral and a gasoline station.
