New Sam's Club Welcomes Gilbert Community to Grand Opening

Celebration Includes Deen Brothers Visit and $35,000 in donations
BENTONVILLE, ARK., January 10, 2008 –Sam’s Club, a division of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., will open a new facility at 2621 South Market Street, Gilbert, AZ 85295.
Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremonies begin at 9:45 a.m., Thursday, January 17. The Deen Brothers, sons of Paula Deen and hosts of Food Network’s Road Tasted, are scheduled to appear from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and autograph purchased copies of their “Deen Bros. Cookbook.” The public is welcome. *A service fee of 10 percent is required on all non-member purchases.
Prior to Sam’s Club grand opening, an exclusive tour for the news media is planned at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 15 during which 13 local charities and community organizations will receive grants totaling $35,000.
Wednesday, January 16, Business Members are invited to attend a breakfast and club preview. During the preview, new and current business members can learn ways employee health insurance, Fax-n-Pullsm, Gold Key Hours and other services help their businesses thrive.

Both Business and Advantage Members can save even more on club services and purchases with a Plus Membership earning up to two percent cash back by using a Sam’s Club Discover card.
Regular Club hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Gold Key Hours for business members are 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
A new Sam’s Club logo graces the entry and interior of the building as part of an effort to refresh and update branding.
